DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

On Saturday, October 27th, PUNCH participated in the Chick-fil-A Dodgeball Tournament to benefit Children’s Miracle Network and Schools for Niger, Africa. Never did losing so badly, feel so right. Our team consisted of Sarah Shannon, Matt Brown, Cassandra Wilder, Rich Trevillian, Erin Potter, Erin Fitzpatrick, and some of our good friends. We would like to have won, but played with great gusto anyway. We decided that we should probably practice sometime before next year’s event. Check out our photos. At least we look good.

PUNCH COSTUME CONTEST

Take a look at our sweet Halloween costumes. Erin Potter won the interoffice costume contest with her interpretation of “Planet Unicorn.” (Don’t ask.) It’s not everyone who can pull off a costume on a global scale. Definitely worthy of that $50 gift certificate.

COMMUNITY

GALLERY SHOWING

Rich Trevillian (aka New Guy) turns out to be a pretty prolific artist. He was featured during October’s First Friday at Cornerstone Gallery. His paintings were, in our humble opinion, some of the most compelling of all that were offered. We feel lucky to have such depth of talent in house.

PUNCH SURPRISE

If you ran the 8K at the Richmond Marathon, you no doubt saw the PUNCH Surprise. To complete the runners’ enjoyment of the great outdoors, we invited Animals Unlimited to bring some exotic animals to the park and help us cheer on the runners. We had a kangaroo, emu, a couple of lemurs, a capuchin monkey, some macaws, a mini pony, and some farm animals. They were terrific cheerleaders and made the race seem like a street fair. Read more.

CLIENTS

I-ACCESS

Our new client, I-Access, does great work that everybody needs but is afraid to talk about. They are IT experts who can manage your network. Their focus is on security, data storage, and employee access. If you think of your company like a car and your network is the engine, then I-Access is like your pit crew. Check them out at www.iaccessinc.com.

PUNCH FACT

On a typical day at PUNCH, we work on 107 different projects, we send 310 emails and receive 362, make about 72 phone calls and receive 79. In order for us to accomplish this, we consume 32 caffeinated beverages and 32 pieces of candy.

SPOTLIGHT

Designer erin potter

Erin is one solid designer—for print and for web. She is excruciatingly well educated, possesses an off-the-hook imagination, is a self-taught break dancer, and is a proud owner of inner peace. Erin is also an avid cyclist and was on a bike tour through Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday. Cool.
