9th ANNUAL ANTHEM LEMONAID
How cool are you?
LEMONAID! It’s that time of year again and PUNCH is once again hosting a lemonade stand to support Anthem’s effort for Children’s Miracle Network. Come see us on July 16th, 9 am–5 pm, and sip a cool, refreshing glass of lemonade. Every cent we get from our stand goes to Children’s Miracle Network, who passes it on to Children’s Hospital of Richmond. It doesn’t get any sweeter than that.
RECYCLED PAPER VS. NON-RECYCLED PAPER
Kelly ponders recycling
Kelly has been pondering a lot of things recently. She (like everyone else) is sensitive to green concerns and the fresh paper vs. recycled paper conundrum has been pondered, revisited, and written about more times than you can re-use your Ukrop’s grocery bags. Read her blog article about it. We are just about ready to shut the book on that one.
INK & PAPER SALE
Sizzling hot summer sale!
All this hot weather makes us want to clean out the office. If you love our products (and who wouldn’t?) come see us on the 16th from 10 am–2 pm, same day as LemonAid, and buy INK & PAPER products. Discontinued items will be available at closeout prices. We’ll have gift wrap, note cards, calendars, gift tags, invitations, and a few surprises. See you there!
DONNA TAYLOR’S MAKEOVER
Garage makeover madness!
Our office manager, Donna Taylor, knows how to get things done. Basically, you enter a contest to have professionals do it for you for free. Faced with a disturbingly full and disorganized garage, Donna entered a contest on LITE 98 and WON! The Closet Factory and Matt Paxton of The Clutter Cleaner were the sponsors of the contest and did the makeover. Check it out. She has photos and more information on her blog, www.TwoHeartsInGuatemala.Blogspot.com.
CARYTOWN PARKING
Animated parallel parking video
If you haven’t seen the video that Matt created about how to parallel park in Carytown, you’ve missed an opportunity to be educated and amused all in about 2 minutes. Many of our work spaces overlook Cary Street and watching people parallel park (and fail at it) provides us with entertainment. Sometimes, a designer needs to give his/her eyes a rest from the ole’ computer screen. There’s nothing better than observing your fellow man to get you refocused!
