KENDALL MORRIS & RICHMOND SOCIAL MEDIA CLUB
Helping college grads navigate emerging media professionally
Kendall Morris, our emerging media specialist, is quite busy with numerous projects for PUNCH and our clients. Her latest project involves Richmond’s Social Media Club. They have a new initiative internationally that she is working on here in Richmond. It is known as SMCEDU. The goal is to create an open dialogue and resource for teaching about social media so that students are prepared to use it for business as they enter the workforce. OVER THE EDGE
A most unique fundraiser
Special Olympics of Virginia had an amazing event in October that PUNCH got pretty psyched about. Participants who raised $1,500 for the Special Olympics earned the right to rappel off the top of the SunTrust building in downtown Richmond. (Have you noticed how very high it is?) Our fearless designer, Rich Trevillian, agreed to take one giant leap for PUNCH and mankind. Learn more about the event at www.overtheedgeva.com. To help solicit support, PUNCH animator in chief, Matt Brown, created a short video. You can watch it here. |

ART 180
Charlie joins the board
PUNCH has been a long-time supporter of ART 180. They create and provide art-related programs for young people who live in challenging circumstances. ART 180 also encourages personal and community change through self-expression. Charlie has agreed to serve on the board and hopes to continue the great work this dynamic group does. Visit them at www.art180.org and learn about all the ways they support art and young people in the Richmond area. |

CHICK-FIL-A DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
Not your typical playground game
It’s that time of year again to review the fundamentals of the dodgeball dodge, dip, duck, dive, and throw. Not because we’re having recess-style playground games after lunch around here, but because it’s time for the annual tournament sponsored by Chick-fil-A. PUNCH will surely field a team after weeding out the recently injured and the hopelessly wimpy. Proceeds support two organizations, Partnership for the Future and Schools for Niger, Africa. If you’re interested in some unusual entertainment or want to cheer us on, we’ll see you on October 24th at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. If you need more information, log onto www.chick-fil-arichmond.com. |
