The LemonAid is Still Sweet on Cary Street

image

A happy bunch of PUNCH staff sold lemonade Friday, July 18 in front of our new space at 3224-A West Cary Street.  Proceeds from the sale, as usual, will benefit Children’s Miracle Network. This is PUNCH’s 3rd year participating in this effort to provide support for the thousands of children who are served by Children’s Hospital and VCU Children’s Medical Center.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a long time major sponsor of this event. Children’s Miracle Network is proud that 100% of the money raised is used locally. This year, PUNCH’s tasty stand raised $274, a satisfying increase from last year’s haul in front of our Main Street office. The final totals have not yet been made public, but Children’s Miracle Network is hoping to top last year’s fundraising effort.

Charlie Connell, Managing Partner at PUNCH says, “We look forward to participating in the Children’s Miracle Network’s LemonAid program every year. This year has the added excitement of being in front of our new office space in Carytown. Our lemonade stand always attracts attention and we look forward to spreading the word about the great work done by CMN, raising funds to help some great kids and, of course, meeting our new neighbors.”
