PUNCH = LemonAid

Any southerner worth knowing understands that hot, summer days call for lots of cold drinks and that helping out a friend in need is part of being a good neighbor. PUNCH is proud to be doing both while supporting Anthem’s 5th annual LemonAid by setting up its own stand right here in front of our office.

On Friday, July 14, PUNCH invites friends, neighbors and kind-hearted strangers to stop by and sip a cool, refreshing glass of lemonade.  LemonAid is a program in the tri-cities area benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network.  All donations are used locally, and here in Richmond, proceeds collected will go to support kids fighting cancer at the Richmond Children’s Hospital and the VCU Children’s Medical Center.  Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield helps to sponsor this grassroots fundraising effort. Last year, more than 600 stands raised more than $54,000.  PUNCH predicts an even more successful year.
