PUNCH Enjoys Doing Ballet’s Bidding
Richmond Ballet held their annual fundraiser on February 2nd at the Commonwealth Club. The “Uncorked 2008” event auctioned off hundreds of luxury items, about half of which were wine. Proceeds from the black tie fundraiser are used for stage productions, the School of Richmond Ballet, and their education and outreach programs. It is the Ballet’s biggest fundraiser and one of Richmond’s most elegant events.
Kelly Adams, Managing Partner at PUNCH, says, “We are proud to count Richmond Ballet as a long time client and happily support their work in our community. It is always a pleasure to attend any of their events, and the wine auction is no different. We had a lively table and felt especially fortunate to share it with dancers from Richmond Ballet as well as PUNCH client, Tenley Carroll Seli from the law firm, Stout, Billy and Seli, P.C. It made for some great conversation.”
The evening began with cocktails and the silent auction portion of the program, which featured over 200 items. PUNCH designed and produced the auction booklet, which created excitement throughout the office prior to the event. The evening also featured performances by Blanton Bradley, Richmond Ballet’s Minds In Motion, followed by Team XXL performing “Another Opening,” “Pueblo Nuevo,” and “Jumpin’ Jive.” A three-course meal with wine pairings completed a perfect evening of entertainment, philanthropy, and art appreciation.
