INK & PAPER is the name of the newly launched subsidiary of PUNCH that produces high-quality note cards, stationery, and paper products.  The line has done a brisk business from its Internet presence already and plans to expand into retail in 2007.  The products are all unique designs that will satisfy the discriminating consumer who wants something beyond the ordinary products offered in most retail outlets.

Kelly Adams, managing partner at PUNCH, says, “I have always loved paper and it is what drew me to this business in the first place.  PUNCH has been successful in the advertising and design business.  We would like to offer products that an increasingly discerning market can appreciate.  Our designs are fresh, smart and unlike anything else you will see in Richmond.”

INK & PAPER plans on offering its paper products in its own retail location in 2008.  In the meantime, orders can be placed online at http://www.inkandpaper.com.  To kick off the line, INK & PAPER sold gift tags, paper punches, ribbon, and stickers in time for the holidays.  In addition to selling on its own Web site, there were several local businesses who offered the boxed collection, including:  Ellwood Thompson’s, Tinker’s, Main Art, Crossroads, Gather, La Diff, The Yarn Lounge, Mongrel, Fountain Bookstore, NYFO, Occasionally, V for the Home, and Pink.  To celebrate the new business, profits from the holiday items were donated to Art180.  Art180 creates and provides art-related programs to young people living in challenging circumstances in the Richmond area, and encourages personal and community change through self-expression.

PUNCH specializes in print advertising and design, corporate identity and branding, multimedia design and illustration, as well as media planning.  The firm’s clients include Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the Nature Conservancy, Children’s Miracle Network and Compass Energy.
