Connor’s Heroes

Connor Goodwin was not yet two years old when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He is one of the lucky two-thirds who survive childhood cancer. His parents vowed that if and when they got through all the treatments, they would do something to help others in the same boat. Connor’s Heroes Foundation is their way of saluting the heroes who saved Connor by offering a helping hand to other families who are facing a fight with childhood cancer. As Connor loves to tell people, “Everyone should try to help children with cancer because it will help them feel better.”
The PUNCH creative team was given the opportunity to develop an identity for Connor’s Heroes, which included a logo and stationery package, as well as a Website and print materials. “It is not very often that you are given the opportunity to work on a project for such a worthy cause as conquering childhood cancer. Several members of our design team have been instrumental in creating an identity for a foundation that is very near and dear to our hearts,” says Charlie Connell, a managing partner of PUNCH.
Connor, whose illustrations are featured throughout the design materials, picked his favorite color for the logo and is quick to add, “If you have any ideas about helping children’s cancer, just let me know.”
Steve Goodwin, Connor’s father and president of the Connor’s Heroes Foundation, says, “Without the invaluable assistance and true dedication of the creative team at PUNCH, Connor’s Heroes would not have been able to make a difference so quickly.” Please visit http://www.Connorsheroes.org to find out more about this worthy cause and learn how to be a hero yourself.
